Tamaulipa är ett monotypiskt släkte i familjen asterväxter. Växterna i släktet är buskar som kan bli upp till 3 meter höga. Blommorna är blå till ljuslila. Utbredningsområdet är i Texas och norra Mexiko i södra Nordamerika.
