Pediocactus nigrispinus är en art i pediokaktussläktet och familjen kaktusväxter.
Denna art liknar på många sätt P. simpsonii, men är vanligtvis tuvbildande, kort cylindrisk till formen och blir 2,5 till 15 centimeter hög samt 3 till 15 centimeter i diameter. Den har en taggsamling som är så tät att den ofta skymmer hela plantan. Taggarna är nästan helt raka, rödbruna och blir 1 till 2 centimeter långa.
Blomman är gul eller rosalila och blir 1 till 3 centimeter lång samt 1,5 till 2,5 centimeter i diameter. Frukten blir 0,5 till 1 centimeter i diameter.
Utbredningsområdet är i Idaho, Oregon och Washington i nordvästra USA.

Artbeskrivningen baseras på ett exemplar som samlades in på 900 meters höjd i Wallows County, Oregon av Fritz Hochstätter den 10 juni 1988.
