Cottendorfia är ett monotypiskt släkte i familjen ananasväxter. Släktet var tidigare mycket större, men arter har flyttats till andra släkten, framför allt Lindmania. Utbredningsområdet är i nordöstra Brasilien i Sydamerika.
Cottendorfia är uppkallat efter Johann Georg Freiherr Cotta von Cottendorf, som var en tysk mecenat som levde 1796-1863.
