Bromus himalaicus är en art i lostasläktet och familjen gräs. Arten har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i Bangladesh, södra centrala Kina, östra Himalaya, Nepal och Tibet.
Bromus himalaicus är tuvbildande, fleråriga örter som har linjära blad. Bladen utvecklas både vid basen och utmed strået och blir från 3 till 7 millimeter breda samt 15 till 25 centimeter långa. Plantan utvecklar ett upprättväxande, ledat strå som blir från 35 till 70 centimeter långt. Strået är ihåligt och i änden av strået utvecklas en blomställning. Blommorna sitter i småax som i sin tur har en blomställning likt en öppen eller spretig vippa.

Systematik
Det vetenskapliga namnet himalaicus fick arten av Otto Stapf i publikationen The flora of British India Vol. 7 när den gavs ut 1896.
