Iresine diffusa är en ört eller halvbuske i höblomstersläktet i familjen amarantväxter.

Denna art är rikt förgrenad och växer vanligen klättrande, mer sällan krypande, och blir 1 till 3 meter lång. Bladen är lansettformade till ovala, 3 till 9 centimeter långa och 1 till 5 centimeter breda.

Blommorna sitter i samlingar överst på stjälkarna eller i bladvecken. Hyllebladen är 0,5 till 1 centimeter långa och färgen är vit till gulvit.

Frukten är en oval kapsel som blir 0,1 centimeter lång. Fröna är rödbruna.

Utbredningsområdet är i tropiskt och subtropiskt klimat i Amerika.
