Alopecurus creticus är en art i kavlesläktet och familjen gräs. Arten har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i Bulgarien, Grekland, på Kreta, Balkan och i Turkiet.
Alopecurus creticus är tuvbildande, ettåriga örter som har linjära blad. Bladen utvecklas både vid basen och utmed strået och blir från 1 till 3,5 millimeter breda samt 1 till 7 centimeter långa. Plantan utvecklar ett ledat strå som blir från 7 till 22 centimeter långt. Strået är ihåligt och i änden av strået utvecklas en blomställning. Blommorna sitter i småax som i sin tur har en blomställning likt en vippa.

Systematik
Det vetenskapliga namnet creticus fick arten av Carl Bernhard von Trinius i publikationen Neue Entdeckungen im ganzen Umfang der Pflanzenkunde Vol. 2 när den gavs ut 1820.
