Bomarea distichifolia är en flerårig ört med rotknöl i bomareasläktet i familjen alströmeriaväxter.

Denna art blir mellan 40 och 60 centimeter hög. Bladen är stela, lansettformade, 6 till 10 centimeter långa och upp till 2 centimeter breda.

Mellan 3 och 6 blommor bildar flockliknande samlingar. Blomskaften är upp till 2 centimeter långa. Blommorna är ungefär 1 centimeter långa. De yttre kalkbladen är klarröda. De inre är röda eller orange.

Utbredningsområdet är i västra Sydamerika.
