Lepanthes är ett släkte i familjen orkidéer som har sitt naturliga utbredningsområde i Mexiko, Centralamerika, Västindien, norra Sydamerika, västra Sydamerika och Brasilien. Släktet består av runt 1100 arter och några naturliga hybrider.

Arter i släktet Lepanthes är epifyter eller litofyter med ett sympodialt växtsätt. Blomman gulgrön, gul, gulvit, vit, rosa, lila, vinröd eller rödbrun och blir från 2 till 10 millimeter i diameter.
