Gonocalyx är ett släkte som omfattar drygt 10 arter i familjen ljungväxter. Växterna i släktet är buskar som är epifyter eller markväxande. Några av dem är klätterväxter. Blommorna sitter ensamma, parvis eller i samlingar. De är radiärsymmetriska och klockformade till rörformade. Blomfärgen är vit, rosa eller röd. Frukten är ett bär. Utbredningsområdet är i södra Centralamerika, i Västindien samt i Colombia i västra Sydamerika.
